Our showcase event is held at the end of the year for any debutantes interested in doing their deb the following year. It’s an opportunity to meet with us, ask questions, get a feel for how things work and understand the cost of doing your deb. This night is for the girls wanting to do their deb and a parent or guardian.

Once you have decided to do your deb with us, we will require you to register. We collect some information from you via an online form and a deposit is required. This deposit is fully refundable up until the first night of training, should something occur and you have to unfortunately pull out.

The Information Evening is specific to your deb event and is a meeting for you, a parent or guardian and your partner. It’s also a great idea for a parent or guardian of your partner to come along as it’s a big commitment for them too. At this meeting we will discuss the specifics of your event - dates of training, photography, ticket sales, table allocations, suit hire and the all important colour. This is done by a hands up vote and the majority vote will be the colour of your deb. The chosen will cover the sash colour, table decorations, napkins and table cards.

Training will commence approximately 6 weeks prior to the deb date. We have training at the dance centre and a couple of rehearsals at the venue so you can feel comfortable on the night. The balance of your registration fee is due on this night. Our dance instructor is Glenn Strauss from Albury Wodonga Dance Centre.

Included in your registration fee is the ticket for the deb and partner, this includes the cost of their meal on the night. Also included is a professional video of the night by Story with Heart Videography, wrist bouquet and button hole, limousine ride on the day, snap shots taken on the afternoon by the Social Media Stylist, backstage snacks on the night, signature bear dance training, basic table decorations and your sash or lapel pin.

Di coordinated her first debutante ball in 1993 at the Wodonga Civic Centre. Needless to say, styles and colours have changed a little since then and Di is committed to evolving and developing her deb balls to get better and better each and every year.

Spending her working years in hospitality and event management, Di understands that when it comes to executing a flawless and meaningful event, it’s all in the details. Seeing the smiles on the debs and partners faces on the night of the ball, gives her the urge to continue year after year. It’s not always smooth sailing teaching teenagers to dance and stand up straight, but they always bring it together on the night. Getting to see their proud family and friends watch on from the crowd and seeing them create memories, is a privilege.

Di has donated much of her life to volunteer projects and donates a large portion of the profits from her debutante balls, back into the community.
